Chiranjeevi was born on 22 August 1955 in Narsapur, a small village in the Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh to Sri Venkat Rao and Anjana Devi. He grew up in his native village with his grand parents, while his family was else where because of his father's occupation.[citation needed]Chiranjeevi has two sisters and two brothers. His first brother, Nagendra Babu is a film producer and a film actor. His second brother, Pawan Kalyan is a Telugu film actor
